This year, Paul marks his 30th year in fundraising and event management, and his 25th year at PPI.
Upon arriving in New York City in 1988, Paul spent the first five years of his career at Lincoln Center, first as part of the team that produced the annual Ball in the Opera House, a marathon 12-hour event at the Metropolitan Opera with the cooperation of the Consuls General of Sweden and France, and the White House. In 1990, he migrated to The School of American Ballet, where he assisted in the development office.
Paul joined Projects Plus, Inc. in 1993, and within two years, was named a Vice President of the firm. Today as PPI’s Co-Director, he is responsible for events that benefit some of the region’s most renowned and prestigious institutions, with an added focus on clients whose events feature a strong footprint in the worlds of diversity, art and design, fashion, media, and finance – areas of which he has gained intimate knowledge.
In addition to his depth of fund-raising insight and strategies, Paul is regularly sought to plan and implement multi-media productions for our clients, and has directed events featuring performances by Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, and numerous leading film, music, stage and television luminaries. He is highly adept at producing the event, from management of all logistics, venue, and vendors, to directing the show and providing scripting, creating and implementing design, décor, and branding, and the production of the event’s printed materials.
Outside of PPI, Paul is a renowned photographer specializing in men’s fashion and beauty, and his work appears frequently in publications and online portals across the globe.
