What We Do

Why a Special Event?

A successful special event should be designed specifically to your particular work and culture, and should accomplish the following goals:

  • to raise substantial funds, serve as a model to be replicated annually, gain momentum and loyalty from year-to-year, and build bridges to new contributors.
  • to increase your visibility and sharpen the image of your organization through carefully crafted letters of invitation to a well selected mailing list, recruiting of powerful and appropriate leadership and honorees, telephone contact, printed material and night-of-the event programming emphasizing the relevance and scope of your mission to a well-selected mailing list, as well as to an audience of influential donors.
  • to institutionalize the benefits of your fund-raiser by helping to build lasting relationships with the corporations, individuals and other donors who support your events.

Personal Attention

Each event is supervised by one of the firm's four directors, who draw upon years of expertise acquired by working with corporate and philanthropic leaders all over the country.

Each event is assigned an account executive, carefully chosen to match the organization, its mission and its personnel. PPI's account executives have long experience in creating exceptional evenings that attract donors, increase the organization’s profile – and raise money. And, most importantly, each account executive works in tandem daily with one of the firm’s four directors.

Your Headquarters for Success

From the beginning, PPI serves as your event committee headquarters, taking in-house the myriad details involved in building and managing a successful event.  All calls and mail come directly to us, allowing you and your staff to focus on your donors and other major responsibilities.

On a day-to-day basis, we work in partnership with you, with the appropriate members of your board, with all the leadership, honorees and program participants (and their assigned liaison personnel) – keeping everyone connected and informed of the event’s progress.
